Big Bang North West: You have the POWER with the Office for Nuclear Regulation
We are excited to announce that the Office for Nuclear Regulation will be exhibiting at The Big Bang North West!
The Office for Nuclear Regulation’s mission is to provide efficient and effective regulation of the nuclear industry, holding it to account on behalf of the public.
There will be 3 awesome interactive activities the ONR stand:
1. Build a Bridge Challenge
Can you build a foam bridge with no supports?
Learn how strong structures are made and have a go yourself.
2. Paper Strength
Can you really make a platform out of paper and stand on it?
You’ll be looking at how different shapes can make strong and robust structures.
3. You have the Power!
Learn how to power a light bulb by lemons!
ONR will also be running an interactive nuclear quiz and a careers section for older attendees. Enter the quiz for a chance to win a prize!
