Adventures at Sea – Primary Resources
This fun, free online resource is designed to raise aspirations while introducing children to the Merchant Navy.
It revolves around eight core STEM activities that require children to design, build, launch, load and propel their ships.
Each of the activities are supplemented with a short video which brings the maritime industry to life.
Aimed at years 5/6, this is suitable for classroom activities and STEM/science clubs, and includes a downloadable teacher’s guide.
