STEM Ambassador Training – Royal Statistical Society
Think maths is important but not sure how you could promote it?
Do you want to help inspire school students but not sure where to start?
Following on from the success of the Operational Research Society training we offered back in May 2018, we’re delighted that STEM Ambassador and Chair of the regional Royal Statistical Society (RSS) group, Dr Laura Bonnett has offered to host a follow-on session to provide some practical training based around the Hands-On Statistics activities developed by the RSS for use in a range of classroom and public engagement contexts.
Tuesday, 18 September, 2018 4pm – 6pm
University of Liverpool
The session will be suitable for anyone interested in running workshops to enthuse children in maths, in schools, colleges, universities, at events or in club settings. No prior experience is necessary – just enthusiasm to show young people how important maths is!
