Are you a great leader? Enter The Leaders Awards!

YES! Nominations are open for The Leaders Awards and this year All About STEM will be judging the Education Award!

We know that we have hundreds of inspirational leaders both teaching in our schools and working as expert STEM ambassadors so we’d like to encourage you to get involved. It’s not just schools and universities but any setting where people are empowered to learn new skills and develop.

Awards categories include leadership in Arts, Common Good, Education, Enterprise, Health and Social Care and Uniformed Services. Take a look and nominate today…

“Excellent leadership can change lives. It is vital in times of change, experimentation and adversity.”

Liverpool Hope University Business School and The Leaders Club are looking to recognise individuals who make a significant difference to the Liverpool City Region by demonstrating excellent leadership skills and/or promoting excellence in leadership in others.

Judges will be looking for entries across six categories:

Arts

‘We are looking for leadership within all areas of the arts – music, drama, dance, performance, writing, fine art, film, and design. Do you know someone who is making an impact on arts in the region? Are they changing attitudes, using art to highlight a social injustice, or leading the arts through an exciting or challenging time in the region?’

Common Good

‘We are seeking leaders who are making real differences across society and for the good of others. Who is championing social justice and leading the way when it comes to raising awareness of key social issues and diversity?’

Enterprise

‘Do you know somebody who has made a difference to business in the Liverpool City Region, created jobs, made new and innovative links, or led an organisation through change or a difficult time, whilst keeping people at heart?’

Health and Social Care

‘Who are the local health and social care champions making a difference? We are not necessarily looking for senior managers but leaders within the health community who are leading from the front, inspiring others and making real changes for the better.’

Education

‘Education is at the heart of everything. We are looking for leaders in education – not just in schools or universities, but in any setting where people are empowered to learn new skills and develop. Or, do you know somebody in the education sector promoting excellence in leadership to the next generation?’

Uniformed Services

‘This category seeks to acknowledge leaders within the Armed Services, the Police and Fire and Rescue, who show exceptional leadership in challenging circumstances.’

In each category, the judges will look for individuals that demonstrate some or all of the following leadership values, traits and qualities:

  • Honesty
  • Integrity
  • Courage
  • Empathy
  • Competency
  • Communication
  • Co-operation
  • Impact
