Science & STEM Clubs: Resources, Ideas & CREST Awards
If you’re looking for inspiration for your Science or STEM Club, we have plenty of resources for you and new projects from CREST Awards!
CREST helps young people aged 5-19 to become independent and reflective learners through enquiry-based project work.
CREST Awards are flexible and cost effective. They can be run in schools, clubs or at home.
With no set timetable, projects can start whenever you want, and take as long as you need.
CREST Bronze Award: 10 hours in total
CREST Silver Award: 30 hours in total
CREST Gold Award: 70 hours in total
CREST Discovery Day: Can be completed in a day (5 hours equivalent)
CREST can be used in conjunction with other activities and schemes, such as the Duke of Edinburgh’s Award, Extended Project Qualifications (EPQs) and the Big UK Bang Competition.
There are also numerous, fun & interactive accredited activities & projects including F1 in Schools & the Tomorrow’s Engineers Robotics Challenge!
