Zoom: Parents Evening – National Apprenticeship Week!
Parents with children in all areas of Merseyside and Cheshire can join us on Zoom to find out all about apprenticeships!
All About STEM deliver the ASK (Apprenticeship Support and Knowledge) Programme in the Wirral, Warrington, Knowsley and Cheshire regions on behalf of the Education and Skills Funding Agency, which is a part of the Department for Education.
As part of National Apprenticeship week and in partnership with local STEM Ambassadors this parents session will explain more about:
• The range of apprenticeship job roles available
• The different levels
• How you find an apprenticeship
As parents and carers, we know that you are keen to hear about all options available to your child so that you can support them in their decision making.
What we’re going to cover is important because even if your child does already know what they’re planning to do after school – plans can change and so it is important that they are aware of all of the options available to them so that they can make the most informed decision for them. Apprenticeships have also changed significantly over the past few years and there are some brilliant opportunities available for your child. Through apprenticeships, you could even now achieve a degree if you wanted to, so come along to find out more!
Parents with children in all areas of the Merseyside and Cheshire region are welcome to attend and can be put in contact after the session with your local ASK representative.
Date: February 8 2022 – 6pm
All About STEM has been delivering the (ASK) Apprenticeship Support and Knowledge for Schools and Colleges project since March 2017. The project is commissioned by the National Apprenticeship Service to ensure that all young people are fully informed about the brilliant opportunities that apprenticeships offer.
