Big Bang North West: Big Bang Barrow – Booms, Buzzes and Bots!

“An absolutely amazing two-days at Big Bang Barrow!”

More than 1,200 primary, secondary and further education students attended the South Cumbria Big Bang Science and Engineering Fair hosted by Furness College on the 18th and 19th of October 2016.

The two day event offered young people the chance to experience Science, Technology, Engineering & Maths via fun, hands-on exhibits. Children could identify bones from X-ray, work with 3D printers, watch explosive science, take part in elephant toothpaste experiments, control robots and so much more!
