Science4Society Week: New website & competition!

We are excited to announce that Science4Society Week has a new website and a fantastic competition!

Science4Society Week is a collection of science education activities, co-ordinated by Scientists for Global Responsibility and designed to inspire young people.

The week takes place in March each year (13-19th March 2017) and the activities focus on the contribution that science, design and technology can make to peace, social justice and environmental sustainability.

You can find free downloadable resources on their new website!

The Science4Society Week Competition 2017 is an opportunity for young people to apply their creativity, curiosity and imagination to design an ‘Eco-home Explainer’ – an educational domestic energy display.

An organisation that will be part of the judging panel will take up the design, produce the Eco-Home Explainer and use it at their events!

There are three categories of entry Year 5-6, Year 7-9 and Year 10-13 and the closing date is the 10th of February 2017.
