Enter your school project in The Big Bang UK Young Scientists and Engineers Competition!

The Big Bang North West 2017 is going to be AMAZING and booking is now open for school groups to enjoy a STEM-sational day. Why not make the event even more rewarding by entering your school into the regional heats of the Big Bang UK Young Scientists and Engineers Competition?

The Big Bang Competition offers opportunities for young people to showcase their STEM project-work and for their efforts to be recognised and rewarded. The competition is broken down into two streams, Engineering and Science, and any project that was started after 1st July 2016, that you feel falls into either of these streams, can be entered.

Once entered, your school’s project(s) will be exhibited by your students at the Big Bang North West and will be judged by a select panel of professionals who will quiz your team(s) and assess the project(s) as a whole. Should your team be successful in winning one of the awards on the day, they will not only be presented with the award on the Big Bang Main Stage but they may also qualify for the national finals of the competition, which will take place at the National Big Bang Fair (2018), held annually at the NEC in Birmingham.

If you would like to participate in the regional heats of the Big Bang Competition at this year’s Big Bang North West event then you simply need to click the link below, register your school for the morning session and then enter the projects. If you’ve already registered your school to attend the Big Bang North West 2017 event, you can simply edit your profile on the booking site and add your projects.

Don’t forget, you can enter any project started after the 1st of July 2016!
