Super-Statistics for STEM Ambassadors with Dr Laura Bonnett
On the 18th of September, STEM Ambassador and Chair of the regional Royal Statistical Society (RSS), Dr Laura Bonnett offered practical and fun statistics training at Baltic Creative.
The session was based around the Hands-On Statistics activities developed by the RSS for use in a range of classroom and public engagement contexts.
STEM Ambassadors were invited who were interested in running workshops to enthuse children in maths, in schools, colleges, universities, at events or in club settings.
Interactive activities started with giant dice games and ended with mischievous meerkats and penguin poop!
Thank you to everyone who attended, all were keen to show young people how important maths is.
